Our class is involved in a Reader's Workshop. The students work on choosing "just right" or "good fit" book from the classroom library. The students spend time reading to themselves, reading to someone and reading to the teacher each day. The students also do word work and writing during the day.
Students should be bringing home a reading bag each night. This bag will have either have a "just right" book picked by the student or a book the student has read with me during guided reading. Please encourage and listen to your student read each night. After reading remember to sign your student's reading incentive located in the front of their agenda.
